I spent many years based in Houston and have remained friends with Edward even since switching bases. He’s always a complete joy to work with, very knowledgeable, unbiased, hilarious but serious when necessary. He is someone we definitely need on our side in the union!
I’ve known Edward for over 18 years and this is one cat you can definitely count on to have your back. I was a shop steward and would defer to Edward for answers to contract related questions. I still ask him contract questions because he had nothing better to do than study our contract and has all the answers. He cares about his job and his fellow flight attendants and won’t let you down.
Congratulations Edward on your nomination. I see you are falling right into place where you need to be. I’ve know you your whole career here at SWA. I’ve admired your integrity and your tenacity to get to the source of problems, but most of all your motivation to do the right thing. On a personal note I DO NOT believe the current TWU members should be handpicking their protégés. I find this unethical and really at the core of what’s wrong with our current TWU Board.
